Lock 'n Load Tactical: Hell Frozen Over
The Frozen Hell Called Attu
Attu was the only North American ground the Japanese held during the war. Taking it back cost the US Army three weeks of fighting uphill through fog, on an island most Americans have never heard of.
May 1943 is yours, either as the 7th Infantry Division coming up the valleys or as the defenders dug in above them.
The ground does most of the work here. Eight levels of elevation mean you often cannot see what is shooting at you. Muskeg drags every advance down to a crawl. Cliffs and razorback ridges funnel an attack into the few places it can go, which is exactly where the defenders are waiting. Then the fog comes down, or a Williwaw comes in off the sea and takes the visibility with it.
The Real Objectives
Clevesy Pass, Cold Mountain, Engineer Hill, Sarana Valley and Prendergast Ridge, all on one large map. It ends the way the battle ended, with one of the largest Banzai charges of the Pacific war coming at you out of the weather.
Hell Frozen Over is an expansion module in the award winning Lock 'n Load Tactical series. Heroes of the Pacific is required to play it.
