Space Infantry Federation places you in command of Humanity during the Second Contact War. Alien forces surge toward your colonies, and the Sol system stands on the brink. Your task is clear. Defend the Federation. Expand your strength. Outpace hostile factions before they reach Earth.
The Setting
During the Second Contact War, Humanity pursued its enemies into a cluster of hostile alien powers. Now the Federation must defend six colonies while preparing for invasion fleets pushing toward Sol. If Sol falls, Humanity falls.
You command the Elite Space Infantry, the Colonial Guard, and allied forces
You balance war, diplomacy, espionage, and research. Every decision reshapes the conflict.
The Enemy
You face multiple alien factions, each with distinct abilities and behavior:
• Flesh Eaters
• Cuthonians
• Mercenaries
• Mutants
• Cybers
Each faction reacts to your choices. They spawn invasion fleets, advance toward your colonies, and attempt to crush your defenses. You must manage threats across multiple fronts at once.
Strategic Control
Space Infantry Federation is a strategic-level defense game built around resource management, alliances, and military readiness.
The Event system drives the flow of play. Events allow you to:
• Advance research
• Form Research, Military, or Diplomatic Alliances
• Gain new technologies
• Spawn or advance invasion fleets
• Build flagships or Sol defense systems
• Manipulate morale, maneuver, and resource tracks
You constantly allocate resources across Build, Maneuver, Morale, Diplomacy, Espionage, and Research. Each choice strengthens one area while exposing another.
Technology and Research
Technological superiority determines survival. The game includes:
• Federation Technology tokens
• Warp Research and Warp Technology tokens
• Cyber Tech development
• Flagships and Sol Defense Systems
You invest in research to gain long-term advantages while invasion fleets close in. Delay too long, and you risk falling behind alien advancements.
Political and Internal Pressure
External threats are only part of the battle. Political alliances and internal stability affect your survival. Military Alliance, Diplomatic Alliance, Failed Alliance, and War Effort shifts influence your momentum.
You decide whether to confront enemies directly, seek alliances, or use espionage to manipulate factions into fighting each other. Each path changes the difficulty curve and strategic posture.
