Point Blank: V is for Victory – Tactical Card-Driven Combat

Point Blank: V is for Victory is an immersive, card-driven tactical wargame where players command squads, support weapons, leaders, and armored fighting vehicles in intense World War II firefights. Designed for two players, with options for solo play and team-based partnerships, this game recreates the desperate battles that raged across France from June to October 1944, just after the Normandy landings.

Game Overview

Each scenario presents unique objectives, ranging from defending or capturing key positions to seek-and-destroy missions and other dynamic combat goals. The Allied and German forces clash in battles that evolve through card-based terrain, action-driven movement, and fast-paced combat mechanics. Every match challenges players to adapt to unpredictable battle conditions, leveraging terrain, firepower, and tactical maneuvering to gain the upper hand.

Key Features:

Abstract Terrain System – The battlefield is made up of terrain cards that determine line of sight, cover, and movement. Players must advance cautiously while reacting to enemy actions.

Tactical Card Combat – Engage in firefights using infantry, tanks, machine guns, and leaders, making use of actions like Fire, Move, Assault, and Rally to seize control.

Action Deck System – Players draw from a common deck, playing actions on their units while managing impulse-based IGOUGO turns that advance the battle. The deck also serves as a timer, with some scenarios requiring multiple deck cycles to complete.

Integrated Dice Mechanics – Action cards feature dice icons for quick and seamless resolution of combat and special actions.

Multiple Ways to Play – Play head-to-head, team up in 2v2 partnerships, or take on the challenging solo system.

Fast-Paced Battles – Most scenarios play in about an hour, depending on the scenario size.

Dynamic Terrain & Tactical Choices

One of the game's standout features is its dedicated terrain deck, separate from the action cards. As troops advance, they draw new terrain cards, which determine what cover or obstacles they encounter. Some cards, like Recon, allow players to influence their battlefield positions, but opponents will always be looking for ways to disrupt their movement.

Lead, Maneuver, and Conquer

In Point Blank: V is for Victory, every choice matters. Will you press forward aggressively, or wait for the perfect moment to strike? Will your forces seize the battlefield, or fall before the enemy’s firepower? With dynamic battles, deep tactical choices, and endless replayability, this game delivers intense WWII combat in an accessible, card-driven format.

The fight begins now. Are you ready to take command?
