Nations At War: Compendium Vol 1 2nd Edition w/Compendium Replacement Counters
Feet First Into Hell
The paratroopers went in first, in the dark, scattered across miles of Normandy. Everything that came afterwards depended on what they managed to be holding by morning.
Normandy, Cobra and Arnhem are yours, and they run as campaigns rather than as one-off fights.
British and American paras on the drop zones first. Then the breakout at Operation Cobra, where Canadians, Free French and Free Polish formations join the Nations At War series for the first time, alongside new American, British and German units.
What You Spend, You Do Not Get Back
The campaigns link together. Every man lost in one scenario is a man you start the next one without, and the objectives you take earn the points that refit what is left. Spending freely wins the afternoon and loses the week.
Rebuilt, Not Reprinted
This brings the Airborne and Operation Cobra expansions together with the Nations At War material from Line of Fire magazine. The scenarios have been cleaned up, the maps redesigned, and the whole thing put into the current Nations At War style.
Compendium Vol 1 is an expansion in the Nations At War series. You need both White Star Rising 2nd Edition and Desert Heat 2nd Edition to play it.
