NATO's Last Stand

The Gap goes first. After that it is a question of how far west the Soviets get before somebody stops them, and in 1985 nobody in NATO was confident the answer was short of the coast.

Yours is the job of making it stop somewhere.

American units counterattack early, when slowing the advance is all anyone can realistically hope for. Soviet air assault battalions come down behind your line to open the road for the armour. You ambush a column too long to defend along its whole length. Then armour outside Frankfurt, French troops fighting in their own streets in Paris, and raids on supply depots a long way behind the front.

The Last Attempt

It builds to a NATO effort to halt the Soviet Black Guards Tank Division short of Le Havre, before it cuts the NATO position in France in two.
