Lock 'n Load Tactical: Day of Heroes
The Battle of Mogadishu
Urban Warfare at Its Most Intense
Lock 'n Load Tactical: Day of Heroes places you in the heart of one of the most intense urban battles of modern warfare—the Battle of Mogadishu, 1993. Part of the Lock 'n Load Tactical (LnLT) series, this squad-level wargame recreates the desperate street-to-street fighting between U.S. Army Rangers, Delta Force operators, and Somali militiamen in a battle that would become legendary as the events behind Black Hawk Down.
Game Overview
On October 3, 1993, elite U.S. forces launched Operation Gothic Serpent, a raid to capture warlord Mohamed Farrah Aidid’s top lieutenants. What should have been a quick mission turned into a nightmare as Somali militia fighters swarmed the city’s streets, and two Black Hawk helicopters were shot down. Now, you must fight your way through the city, rescue stranded soldiers, and survive against overwhelming odds.
Will you lead the U.S. forces in their desperate battle for survival, or command the Somali militia in their determined resistance?
