Lock 'n Load Tactical: Bear and the Jackal
No Front Lines, Only Firefights
There was no line to hold in Afghanistan. A convoy on a road, a village at first light, a ridge above a valley, and whoever chose the ground usually decided how it ended.
Command falls to you on both sides of it. Soviet motor rifle troops and Spetsnaz on one hand, Mujahideen fighters on the other.
Escort a convoy through country that has been watched for days. Put a section down from a helicopter and work a valley on foot. Or take the other side, sit in the rocks with an RPG-7, and let the column come to you.
Two Ways to Fight
The Soviets bring discipline, weight of fire and air mobility. The Mujahideen bring the ground itself and the choice of when the shooting starts. The scenarios are drawn from real operations of that war and almost every one of them turns on who saw the other first.
Bear and the Jackal is an expansion module in the award winning Lock 'n Load Tactical series. Heroes Against the Red Star is required to play it.
