Lock βn Load Tactical: Starter Kit
Try the System Before You Buy Into It
Most tactical wargames ask you to commit to a box before you know whether the system suits you. This one does not.
Two introductory scenarios put you in command, one in Normandy and one in Vietnam.
The rules here are the rules the full games use, cut down to what those two scenarios actually need. Squads, leaders, and an impulse turn that keeps both sides doing something instead of waiting. You will need two six-sided dice and nothing else.
Two Editions
The Print and Play edition is free. You download the manual, which carries the maps, counters, scenarios and player aid cards, and print it yourself. The Printed edition ships you full-colour maps and a counter sheet, and you download the same manual for everything else.
Play It on a Screen
The Starter Kit also runs on Vassal, Tabletop Simulator and Tabletopia, so you can try the system without printing anything at all.
The Lock 'n Load Tactical Starter Kit is the way into the award winning Lock 'n Load Tactical series, and the Print and Play edition costs nothing.
