Survive the Frozen Hell of the Ardennes

December 1944, the coldest winter anyone could remember, and the Germans come out of the Ardennes into a stretch of line that was quiet because nobody expected anything to happen there.

Hold it, or break it.

Snow and fog change what you can see and how far you can get, so a plan that worked in a French summer does not survive here. King Tigers come down icy roads that will not let them turn. M4A3 Shermans work around them. New infantry squads, leaders and support weapons arrive on both sides, and airstrikes bring something down on a position that thought it was safe.

Build the Battlefield

Double-sided map tiles let you lay out frozen forest, icy road and snow-covered village, with bridges, bunkers and ruins to make choke points out of. The same scenario set up twice is not the same fight.

What You Are Fighting For

Take an objective or hold one. Stand in front of the German offensive and see how long you last. Get out of an ambush. Time a ground assault to land with the air support instead of ten minutes after it.
