Lock 'n Load Tactical: Valor of the 13th
The 13th Army Holds at Ponyri
Citadel was meant to pinch out the Kursk salient in days. In the north the Germans spent most of a week on one village and the hill behind it, and never got past either.
Six days in July 1943 are yours, from whichever end you want.
The Soviet 13th Army is dug in and has had months to do it, so German infantry and armour come forward through ground that is already ranged in. Hill 253.5 and the plains east of it are where it finishes. Vehicles can now be crippled rather than killed outright, which changes what you do with a damaged tank of your own and what you try to do to theirs.
The Ground at Ponyri
Rolling plains, the defensive belts the 13th Army spent the spring digging, and the hill that decided the northern half of Citadel.
Valor of the 13th is an expansion module in the award winning Lock 'n Load Tactical series. Heroes of the Motherland is required to play it.
