Less Setup, More Playing

Nobody sat down to a wargame because they wanted to spend forty minutes laying out counters and looking up data cards.

The Game Assistant takes the bookkeeping and leaves you the game. It runs on Mac and Windows, it works across Lock 'n Load Tactical, Nations At War, Point Blank and World At War 85, and using it is always optional.

Data Card Assistant

Every data card in one place, searchable, with the ones you keep reaching for pinned so they are there when you need them.

Solo Assistant

It handles the AEO deck for solitaire play, managing draws, initiative and events while keeping the feel of turning a physical card over.

Battle Assistant

Pick maps, forces and objectives and it walks you through building the scenario, then exports a clean setup file to print or keep on screen.

Career Mode Assistant

Career Leaders carry across linked battles, and it records the promotions, awards, wounds and experience so you are not keeping a notebook.

Scenario Creation Assistant

Guided mission design that organises units, objectives and victory conditions into something you can hand to somebody else and have them play it.

Still Being Built

Development is ongoing, with more automation, an opponent finder and closer links between Career Mode and battle generation planned. iPad support is intended for a future release.

The Game Assistant is a companion application for Mac and Windows. It is not a game, and you will need a board game, Vassal module or Tabletop Simulator module from the Lock 'n Load Tactical, Nations At War or World At War 85 series to use it.
