Glory and Empire - First Victories - Assault On Western Ridge Expansion

The Fight That Did Not Happen

High ground with a fortified position on it, and not enough room on the approaches to bring everything up at once.

Take the ridge, or hold it.

A new map with elevated ground, fortified positions and manoeuvring space that runs out sooner than you want it to. Two what if scenarios built around it, where the British, the French and their allies fight an action nobody recorded because nobody fought it.

Ground That Argues Back

The ridge changes what a flanking move costs and what a frontal one costs, which means the obvious plan and the good plan are rarely the same plan here.

Assault on Western Ridge is an expansion for Glory and Empire: First Victories, which is required to play it.
