An Army of Two – World At War 85 Novel, Book 3
Two Soldiers, Behind the Line
First Lieutenant Darren White is stuck behind Soviet lines in occupied West Germany with what is left of his cavalry troop, waiting for a reason to do something about it.
White and his second in command, Maurice Fitzgerald, run joint operations with a Special Forces team in the Fulda Gap and turn up something they were never meant to find. The Soviets have a way to win the war. Stopping it takes an operation that only works if two men who do not much like each other can hold it together.
Elsewhere, Sergeant Will Harland wakes up in a Russian prison camp, an Abrams gunner with nothing to gun. Put to work in a field hospital, he learns that a senior American officer in his care is about to be sent east and taken apart for what he knows. Saving him means giving up his own chance of getting out.
